If you are doing a diploma at a government or private polytechnic in Bihar, you will hit the same requirement sooner or later: four to six weeks of industrial training, practical training, or field work, closed out with a training report and a certificate in your file. The file your Head of Department checks looks the same everywhere: joining evidence, week-by-week work, final report with your name on it, and a certificate somebody can verify. Browse the full track list on /programs, run a sample certificate check on /verify, and show the TPO kit on /tpo-kit to your training in-charge before you enrol. No blog post and no training provider can override your institute letter.

What Bihar polytechnics usually ask for

The common norm is a bounded 4-6 week stint, usually after the second or fourth semester. Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical students are typically expected to show site, shop-floor, lab, or drawing exposure; Electronics and Computer Science diploma students are usually expected to show a small build with dated evidence. A clean submission almost always contains five things: an offer or joining note with dates, a week-by-week log, the weekly outputs themselves (drawings, photos of jobs, code, test readings, calculation sheets), a final consolidated report in institute format, and the completion certificate with a verification path. When institutes reject a training, it is rarely about the brand name: one of these five is missing, or several students submitted the same project under several names.

Which track fits which diploma branch

Match the track to your branch and to what you can defend in a viva. Diploma Mechanical: Mechanical Design with SolidWorks and Manufacturing gives drawings and planning sheets that file directly into a report. Civil diploma: Civil Design with AutoCAD and Estimation gives 2D drafting, a small residential plan, and estimation and costing. Electrical diploma: Power and Electrical Systems with EV Basics covers circuits, machines, converters, and systems thinking. Electronics and Computer Science diploma: Embedded Systems and IoT for hardware evidence (firmware, sensor drivers, sensing-node capstone), or Full-Stack Web, Python Data Analytics and ML, and C Programming and DSA Foundations where software builds are accepted. Full syllabi with week-by-week deliverables are on /programs: read the deliverable line of each week, not just the title.

Credit, verification, and red flags

No training provider, CannyIntern included, can grant academic credit, claim university or board approval, or promise your institute will accept its certificate. Credit is decided entirely by your polytechnic. Any provider claiming affiliation, approval, guaranteed acceptance, or backdated certificates is misleading you. Run these checks before enrolling: divide promised effort by promised weeks; ask who reviews weekly work and against what rubric; confirm individual work; verify a sample certificate end to end on /verify; get institute acceptance in writing for online-first versus site-based training. Then pick your track on /programs, do the weekly work, keep your file current, and walk into submission day with something you built and can explain.
